Charles Butler featured by the Diocese of Winchester
We were delighted to see Charles Butler and our work featured by the Diocese of Winchester in their article, How a Church's Beekeeping History is Helping Inspire Care for God's Creation.
The Diocese sent one of their team to the Harvest and Beekeepers' Service at St Lawrence, Wootton St Lawrence, where Butler was vicar 400 years ago and is still remembered in the church's memorial window. The article features our trustees Ken and Barbara Robson, alongside Curate Ceri Deosun, talking about why bees matter, what they can teach us about teamwork and community, and how our What's all the buzz about? sessions have now reached around 900 primary school pupils.
